Astrotrain was a Lunajet for the Functionist's, the first Lunajet of his kind. Astrotrain used to be  a loyal Functionist bot who acted as the transport for the grope. But when the Functionist killed many Lunajet's he became a Decepticon and killed his former masters. Astrotrain is the commander of the space division of the Decepticon army and spends his time mostly in space. Either as transport or as flight support. He more interesting in battle to tell the truth. When on the battlefield he's a force to be recon with. he's around 50 meters tall and has weaponry that rivals Brawls ammo. Overkill may not be the strongest Decepticons or well know but he know how to scare people. An expert in Psychological warfare he can subdue a foe without much physical fighting. Many Decepticons (especially Barricade) hate him because of  the fact his powers aren't just used against the enemy.
