Decepticons

The Decepticons are a powerful faction. Arising from the poor of  Auto-functionist Cybertron they've started as a political movement to destroy corruption but after completing that it shifted tables. Beginning a civil war which decimated the Autobot commonwealth and briefly started their own empire.

 Their the reason that Cybertron nearly became uninhabitable. But its members aren't evil mindless warheads( well not all of them) and many joined to make the world a better place.

Of course its not a stable as it should be. Ambitious members try to clime to power, others tried to break away and start new factions. But as the saying goes ' their are few monsters in war'.

After the war they were reborn as the Alphacons and  became mostly peaceful. By the beast era they declined rapidly but do have new members.

History:

the Decepticons were first thought up by a young Megatron while working in the mines after reading essays made by the long dead Guardian prime. As one of few manual workers who could read or wright he wrote his own essays which inspired many poor bots in his community.

This grew tension in the upper classes and they tried to kill him but Terminus aloud him to escape. He eventually got to the arena and with Clench help spread his movement. This also sparked the reform Autobot grope led by Orion Pax and they both tried to revolutionised Cybertron.

The transition from a movement to a tyrannical faction started with the murder of Nominus prime as Megatron slowly became Insane. By Sentinel's time they were in full force and the threat of war was imminent.

When war did spring the Decepticons were equally matched and their struggle slowly turned their planet into a wasteland. After Megatron disappeared the war became space wide and the Decepticons both won and lost battles.

The Decepticons in Megatron's absence had may iconic leaders such as: Straxus, Ratbat, Riot, Gigatron, Overlord, Gigaempress, and Tryannis. The Decepticon Krok became famous overall as the number one adventurer with his crew and his battles with monsters of all sorts and Bigbang.

Eventually the Decepticons without Megatron began to lose the war but it was ended when soundwave made truce with the Autobots and reformed the faction as the Alphacons.
