Sentinel prime was the last prime from the Auto-functionist era of autobot rule. While more good then the last two primes he still has problems of his own. He inherited leadership at a time of  near civil war and even he couldn't stop it. He's been known for being a lover of Publicity and even have many fans.

Sentinel was one of two people to inspire Orion Pax to reform government, And probably would have reformed society if he was given time to do so and if Megatron hadn't been losing his sanity. Being a prime from this era he been accused of being a functionist but records are to scrabbled to give any evidence.

But he's a good warrior to, being famous for it long before attaining rank. But his Military politics was his downfall. As some policies filially gave enough dirt for the Decepticons to kill him. He probable wasn't as  good as he appears morally but historians say he was the best prime in Morality for his time which his predecessors were just down right worse them him comparatively.

History:

Sentinel was probably born just after the Guardian -Malignus war and joined politics in hope of destroying injustice to his people. This thinking was implanted when he met Cognive one day out of the blue and told him about Guardian beliefs, And since then he secretly gave the basis of what will become Opti-Autobotism.

At some point he met Orion Pax and implanted the same ideology and became close friends. He was with Zeta prime when they visited Shockwaves lab for the first time.[Spotlight Hotrod]He was also with Zeta while discussing Megatron forced marriage[A forceful Marriage]

At a unspecified point he succeeded Zeta prime when he got murdered and try to both appeal the Decepticons and expand the army. He sent Optimus primal and Convoybat to Eukaris. And during that time he got murdered by Megatron.[trukk and monky]

He left the Matrix to Orion will as it was stashed away, as told by Vector Sigma before giving it to Orion Pax[The Great war: rise of Optimus]He was mentioned by Mainframe while Wheeljack tried to determine how long he was dormant on the Ark[Mystery of Mainframe]

Notes:

Sentinel prime is a physical fusion of G1 Sentinel and ROTF Sentinel, His colours and head are from G1 and alt-mode is of a Cybertronian water crash tender.

He shares his bodytype with Stungun and Skullcruncher

If you thought Megatron was an evil , Merciless Dictator then your wrong by a hundred percent. That title rightfully belongs to Straxus of Polyhex, Who even Megatron leaves him alone because even though Megatron is mildly insane he insanity is surpass by this bot. Believed to be the son of the Malignus Darkmount or Darkmount himself. Straxus is hated by all. Even his loyal troops are downright terrified by him. He executed more then his leader and is far older then him. His alleged end was at the hands of Sixshot who downright hates him.  His head somehow got to earth and is the mastermind under the Headmaster war and plans his return. Their nobody like Straxus. Simacore

One of many members of the Decepticon science division, Simacore has a major Ego problem. Though he is a very smart Scientist, his ego guide him to challenge the "Simpletons" as their superior. Unlike many other scientists, he's also freakishly strong for a bot his size. TL;DR - unless your smarter then him he will belittle your intelligence. History: Simacore was forged during the Sentinel Prime era and became a Decepticon Scientist, During the war he would be involved in many Decepticon Science projects.
