Septimus prime

"Septimus prime, the bot to rediscover the Matrix and unify the tribes of Cybertron under his true leadership, with the  benevolent Quintessons on their side, Cybertron will prosper to heights worthy enough for the galactic community"! Is what Septimus presented to Cybertron as, though it's far from the truth.

In truth, Septimus prime was the Quintessons puppet ruler instated so they can have better control of the planet. A corrupted being, Septimus is all to willing to sell his people to slavery once the time comes for his masters gain.

He would be referred forever more as "The false Prime". He even came with a fake Matrix to solidify his power, Good thing the Alpha Vanguard overthrown him before he could start deporting his race as mindless slaves.

History:

Septimus was forged during the ending days of the age of origins and was the first bot the Quintessons preformed on to activate his Transformation cog before actually introducing themselves to the Cybertronian race.

Inline with the Quintesson conspiracy, Septimus was chosen to become the puppet ruler of Cybertron so they could control the planet. After building a fake Matrix, Septimus was returned to his home world and declared himself a prime sometime after the Quintessons introduced themselves to the transformers.

In time he became the ruler of Cybertron, waiting for the Quintesson plan to unravel. He dealt with rebellions quite well. Up until the Alpha Vanguard was formed and did their first major attack on him and his Quintesson masters.

He fought Alpha Prime(Primon) and Nova, even though he tried to assert them he was a prime. Alpha Prime killed him(though he was mortally wounded) and Nova prime showed the populace that Septimus was a fake, starting the revolt against the Quintessons[Quintesson Revolt 1 of 3]
