If you don't believe the Thirteen or the Original Predaking to be alive, she may as well be the oldest Living Cybertronian alive.

Which makes her at least 500 Million years old, She's also the wife of Cyclonus.

Tailgate was forged just before the age of Wraith and ruled the Vector Dynasty along with her King Cyclonus until the Quintessons came and overthrown her and her husband when they took over Cybertron.

When the Quintesson revolt was won She went into obscurity until he was recruited by The Autobot Orion Pax During the Zeta prime era. She was one of many Autobots to be on the ancient warship the Ark and got stuck on earth.

She was mentioned along with Cyclonus when Banzaitron was talking to Soundwave about his date to Moonheart[Shatter glass concept/ Best body 2 ]
