Malignus

The Malignus was a faction that formed during the guardian era of Cybertron and was very Anti-Guardian. Lead by King Malignus they wanted a different Cybertron and hated the fact that prime would rule it rather than a king.

The Malignus started the Guardian-Malignus war and though they lost they contributed to the Autobot military strongly as well as using the first seeker-like air force as well as using similar body-types for different units.

The faction would barely survive when the great war began, only some living on the planet rebirth.

History:

The Malignus was formed around 340 Mya by King Malignus during the guardian era by people who hated the rule of the Guardians. After amassing enough resources and members they started the Malignus-guardian war on Cybertron.

During the war they made many scientific advancements as well as many military ones like forming the first seeker-like air force. They also invented many body types that would be used by both autobot and Decepticon would use during the great war.,

Eventually the Malignus was defeated by the Guardians by Guardian prime sacrificing his life to kill King Malignus, however their forces were so low the Autobot faction took over instead as Nominus took the matrix and became prime.

After the Guardian-Malignus wars the remnants ether joined the Autobots or moved to distant colony worlds, by the time of the Great war they all but disappeared from the political spectrum. After the war there was a grope of Neo Malignus living on planet Rebirth but they weren’t that popular compared to the Autobots and Decepticons.
