Phristoricon

 

Though not a true faction in a sense. the Phristoricons were some of the earliest of the transformers and were older then the Modern species. Their the cybertronian equivalent of dinosaurs and the last of their kind are to believed to be able to transform and develop a more intelligent mind. Their offend treated as the link between Mecanimals and normal transformers.

Like the Dinosaurs on earth they went extinct due to a cataclysm. Only two of the original race survive to this day. During the guardian age they started cloning these mighty beasts remains. Their also normal transformers who are hybrids, containing DNA from Phristoricons such as Ser-ket. The Decepticons Hun-Garr, Twinstrike, Blight, Ripsnapper and Cutthroat have Phristoricon alt-modes.

Biology:

Their is much evidence that Phristoricons branch is related to the modern cybertronian species. The earliest ones were just giant Mecanimals and reproduced like Mecanimals a similar fashion like organics but the difference is that  they would go too hotspots and Intake Sparks into their bodies, using the remains of their prey to make the sparks bodies.

Predacons are draconic in form and can naturally breve fire or ice. They hunt smaller Mecanimals and ingest them, using their metals to increase their bodies size. the waste would be metals. Later species later gained primitive sentience and made Trible gropes within their own species. Unfortunately the Great cataclysm ended anymore advancements.

Their is great evidence that the later Phristoricons had dormant T-cogs but didn't realise how to use them. It was proven that Phristoricons had the capability to transform after clones of them exhibited this, turning into beings similar in looks to Cybertronians. 

Most predacons have yellow eyes, with only some such as Fangblade being exceptions. this may tie in the fact folklore considers them the first tribe to represent Onyx prime.

Modern times:

Fangblade survived the great cataclysm, being underground guarding the Lacon vaults in service for Alpha Trion, and rumours of her still living were confirmed after Cybertron's restoration and the end of the Great war(autobot-Decepticon war).

Shockwave created a few Phristoricons before leaving Cybertron, including the unique hybrid Serket who shared half her DNA with her Predacon half sister Ripclaw, due to them being made at the same time.
